Pembrokeshire

Pembrokeshire has many attractions for visitors of all ages.

Its coastal path takes walkers along 186 miles of stunning coastline - ancient castles, magnificent beaches, and pretty towns and villages, including Angle Village.

Pembroke Castle, just 10 miles from Angle Village, dates from medieval times.  The ramparts offer wonderful views over the surrounding area, and the towers and chambers will keep kids amused for hours.

Freshwater West Beach (just five minutes drive from Angle), is a surfers’ paradise.  Non-surfers may recognise it from the film “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” where it was used as the back drop for Dobby's Shell Cottage.

For golfers, there are many challenging courses nearby, including Tenby with its Championship Links Course.  For non-golfers, Tenby is also well worth a visit for its picturesque beach and harbour.  Keen cyclists can take on part of the Wales Ironman route which goes through Angle Village.

There are also some wonderful parks and gardens, such as Colby Woodland Garden, near Amroth.

The list is practically endless.  Visit the Pembroke Tourist site to see what else is on offer.
